Jackpotjoy Launches Massive 'Quickity Pick' Giveaway
Leading bingo and online gaming website Jackpotjoy must be feeling generous, because they've just announced that they'll be giving away £250,000 worth of prizes over the next seven weeks.
The competition is called 'Quickity Pick', and basically involves making a multiple-choice decision about something suitably silly. For example, the one they're launching with features a dilemma (well, it's three choices, so it's more of a tri-lemma) over which of the three kilt-wearing men in the video clip is a 'true Scotsman'. If you're unaware of the meaning of the phrase, it's got nothing to do with the ethnicity of the men in question, and everything to do with their underwear – or the lack of it. All you have to do to enter the prize draw is correctly guess which one will be revealing far too much 'information' when the fans blow his kilt up around his shoulders.
If you're worried about whether this will put you off your dinner or not, don't be – the ad cuts off at a very strategic moment. Of course, in the game itself, it doesn't – how would you know if you picked right otherwise? As you might imagine, it's all very tastefully blurred out, but the live audience doesn't seem to have the benefit of this technological enhancement, and are suitably hysterical when the fan does its thing!
As ever, the campaign is being fronted by Jackpotjoy's very own Queen of Bingo. The prize draw is free to enter, and while you need to sign up to Jackpotjoy in order to enter the draw, you don't need to deposit any money into your playing account. They'll be doing a prize draw every day until July 11th, and after that they'll be doing the draws on a weekly basis. If you're lucky enough to win one of these draws, you could be getting your hands on a brand new iPad, a state-of-the-art flatscreen TV, or a substantial cash prize.
You can enter as many times as you like, so if you get it wrong the first time you can always do it again. However, if you don't get it right by the third time, then you really don't deserve to win anything!
